This rainy day engagement session at North Avenue Beach wasn’t planned. Okay, the session was planned, but the cruddy weather? Not so much.

Elementary School sweethearts Nicole + Westley had the most beautiful autumn micro wedding, at the church attached to the elementary school where they first met.

With their wedding coming up this spring, we took advantage of a gorgeous evening in downtown Chicago for Hanna + Elorm’s Chicago Riverwalk Engagement Session.

With the pandemic still raging, Jenna + Nathan knew they wanted to still get married in 2020, but also that they wanted to make sure they did it in a way that felt true to their relationship, and kept everyone safe in the process. Enter their Logan Square Micro Wedding.

Britain and Greg’s vintage micro wedding was designed for a pandemic. Literally. After many years together, they decided something beautiful had to come out of 2020 and planned to have their intimate micro wedding in Milwaukee, in their signature vintage-inspired style.

Like so many couples in 2020, Eve and Brett had to postpone their big wedding plans due to COVID. However, after a year of so much loss, they decided that they wanted to find a way to still become legally married this year, while doing so safely, and on their own terms. Enter their Lake Geneva, WI micro wedding!

As a queer wedding photographer, getting to tell queer love stories and capture LGBTQIA+ engagement photos and weddings is one of my greatest honors, and I felt all those feelings in spades with these two during their engagement session in Rogers Park.
