Roger's Park Engagement Session

Danielle + Lauren, like most of us in 2020, have had to change their plans a few times this year. They’ve shown grace under pressure, kindness throughout, and most of all, so much love for one another every step of the way. As a queer wedding photographer, getting to tell queer love stories and capture LGBTQIA+ engagement photos and weddings is one of my greatest honors, and I felt all those feelings in spades with these two during their engagement session in Rogers Park. This gorgeous Northside chicago neighborhood is where Danielle + Lauren have made their home and built their life together, and we spent the most perfect summer evening taking engagement photos at the beach in Roger’s Park, and then hanging out on their back porch. Let me just say that if “hammock engagement photos” weren’t a thing before, they totally should be.

Thanks so much, Lauren + Danielle, for the trust, the laughter, and so much fun. I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next year!
