Sarah and Nick have been together for years and have come across their fair share of obstacles, so it makes sense that all they really wanted for their wedding day was to celebrate the life they’ve built together with their loved ones surrounding them, and their dog, Gus. When those are your priorities, you can find a way to make any wedding tradition your own, and to completely do it all your way. Sarah and Nick did just that with their colorful punk rock Chicago wedding.

Two words: squirt guns.

Just three short months before their wedding date, Mary Beth + Eric’s venue backed out, leaving them with a very short amount of time to reschedule every vendor, and a literal nightmare of logistics. Enter Chicago Theater Works to the rescue.

Emily + Joe made me feel like family from our first meeting. They are both so funny and warm- just as quick with a joke that will leave you crying from laughter as they are with a sincere compliment.

When mom-to-be Brooke and her husband, Michael, reached out to me to do a maternity session,  I was all in.  Just 4 months earlier, we had a spectacular time together shooting the gender reveal session of their baby girl. We got to spend a beautiful summer evening together, exploring some favorite spots in beautiful Lincoln Park.

 I can think of no better way to catch up with an old friend than with a photo session. When Emily reached out to let me know that she and her husband, Dylan, were expecting a baby girl in late February, I jumped at the chance to photograph them during this exciting time in their lives.
